The conference will provide a forum for new ideas to build the interdisciplinary curriculum of surgeons/computational scientists, and provide material for the continuous education of surgeons.

Forbes is producing a solutions-oriented program seeking to put healthcare on a sustainable track by focusing on the issues of affordability and access. They will bring together leaders from the highest levels of their fields to provide a unique networking opportunity — a 1-stop shop to affect change. Wyss Core Faculty member, George Church Ph.D. will participate in a panel discussion entitled "DNA Disruptors: Our Genetic Future". Church is also a Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School.
