This year’s full day event will have an expanded focus, incorporating the biology of several respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD and pulmonary fibrosis, along with innovative, emergent technologies. Topics to be covered include the genetics of respiratory diseases, novel pathways and targets, imaging technologies to identify disease biomarkers, the development of biomimetic microsystems as translational pre-clinical models, and lessons learned from anti-IgE therapy. Drawing on the strength of the local research community, this Symposium will bring together academic and pharmaceutical scientists and clinicians, offering a unique learning and networking experience for Boston area researchers.
