To develop transformative new approaches for medicine and the environment, the Wyss Institute is establishing creative collaborations across the globe with other leaders in advanced technology and global medicine, including:

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is a federally funded research and development center chartered to apply advanced technology to problems of national security. Research and development activities focus on long-term technology development as well as rapid system prototyping and demonstration. 

 

 

 

The Adaptive Building Initiative (ABI), founded in 2008, is a joint venture between Buro Happold and Hoberman Associates dedicated to designing a new generation of buildings that optimize their configuration in real time by responding to environmental changes.

 

MEND applies emerging and advanced delivery and manufacturing technologies to drug and vaccine candidates for diseases of poverty. These technologies often make the difference for a drug or vaccine that otherwise cannot reach patients because of government instability, the cost of manufacturing, and the need for refrigeration and needle-free dosing.
