GC-MS 5975/7890 (Cambridge)

Description
The Agilent GC-MS consists of a 7890 GC interfaced with an Agilent 5975 Quadropole Mass Spectrometer, FID detector, G188 Headspace Sampler, and 7693 Series Autosampler. The Agilent 5975 MSD system is capable of using electron ionization (EI) or chemical ionization (CI) modes. It is also capable of performing full mass scans or selective ion monitoring (SIM). The mass detection range is up to 1050 m/z.

The G188 Headspace Sampler is a useful tool for introducing trace amounts of volatile and semi-volatile samples found in nonvolatile liquids and solids into the GC chromatograph.
