Harvard University

Harvard Medical School, which was founded in 1782, has more than 8,000 resident physicians and postdoctoral fellows and more than 10,000 faculty members.

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences comprises more than 1,000 faculty members, including dozens of Nobel Laureates and Pulitzer Prize winners. FAS includes Harvard College, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Division of Continuing Education.

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences serves as the connector and integrator of Harvard’s teaching and research efforts in engineering, applied sciences, and technology.

The Graduate School of Design is a global leader in studies of the built environment, engaged in developing and promoting design as an agent of change in the quest for a better future. The collaboration with the Wyss Institute is lead by the Design Robotics Group.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School and hosts nearly three quarters of a million patient visits annually in and around Boston.

Boston Children's Hospital, one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, is a 396-bed comprehensive center for pediatric health care.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, founded in 1947, has been ranked as the best cancer hospital in New England, and its physician-researchers are involved in significant breakthroughs in cancer research and care.
Massachusetts General Hospital is the third oldest general hospital in the United States and the oldest and largest hospital in New England. It is consistently ranked among the top five hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is one of the largest rehabilitation facilities in the U.S., providing comprehensive rehabilitation treatment. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in New England continuously ranked since 1995 by U.S. News and World Report in its Best Hospitals survey.
