Research Assistant II – Biosensors and Diagnostics

We are seeking a Research Assistant II who will work on research projects involving electrochemical assay development, sensor and microfluidic fabrication and integration into novel diagnostic platforms that will address the following point: (i) Microfabrication of devices (ii) low sample volume consumption, (iii) rapid sample-to-results and (iv) high-throughput. Specifically, microfluidics and the integration of multiple and multiplexed sensitive detection schemes into one device are the main challenges that will need to be addressed. The major work task would be to get up speed with micro fabrication techniques used within the group and Electrochemical/ optical assay development. [50198BR]
