Research Assistant II – Biostasis-Inducing Therapeutics

We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Assistant II to join our team to work on a multidisciplinary project focused on developing biostasis-inducing therapeutics that can reversibly slow or even stop the processes of cellular metabolism at room temperature. These molecular compounds could be used to stabilize vaccines without the need for a cold chain of transportation, preserve cellular therapies and organs for transplantation, and buy time to treat people with life-threatening injuries. You will assist in research studies involving Xenopus embryos and tadpoles, with a concentration on understanding the therapeutic effects of these compounds on trauma states. [54311BR]
