Research Assistant III- Lung Disease

We are seeking a Research Assistant III to significantly contribute to a research program involving the use of microfluidic human lung in vitro models to the pathology of cystic fibrosis, and the contribution of infection within this model. The successful candidate will be a part of our Bioinspired Therapeutics and Diagnostics Platform and also work with our internal drug discovery team to leverage this knowledge to identify and develop novel anti-inflammatory therapies. They will be responsible for the optimization and execution of microfluidic Organ on Chip primary cell culture, bacterial infection, and the development and validation of various in-vitro cell based assays, including, but not limited to, bacterial and cell based qPCR/TaqMan, ELISA, westerns, enzymatic assays, imaging, and immune cell-based assays.
