CogniXense: Speeding Up Treatments for Rare Diseases

At the Wyss Institute, we are tackling Rett syndrome, a rare disease that affects 1 out of 9,000 children, by developing a scalable model for neurodevelopmental and cognitive diseases. This model can test drugs to see which will improve memory, learning, and behavior, with the end goal of finding effective therapies.
