Balancing Study

Are you a healthy, active individual interested in helping us learn about balance?

Researchers at Harvard are studying how the different senses work together to help people maintain balance while doing certain activities.

This research study will involve at least one visit during which we will ask you to perform certain balancing activities, such as standing on one leg.

You will receive compensation for your participation.

Location: Wyss Institute at Harvard University, 52 Oxford Street, Cambridge, MA.

Eligible Participants:

  • Are between 18-64 years old
  • Are in general healthy condition
  • Have no disorders that affect vision or ability to balance
  • No other comorbidities that may interfere with their ability to participate (cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, etc.)
