Gleb’s research interests combine high-throughput DNA sequencing and synthesis with machine learning to engineer proteins. His expertise includes design and implementation of integrated experimental and computational infrastructure. He received his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Harvard University working in George Church’s lab where he designed, built, and optimized radically recoded genomes. Prior to entering the field of synthetic biology, Gleb received a B.S. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT and worked as a software engineer at Google.
