
Dorothy brings 20+ years experience in the apparel industry to the development of the fabricated textile components of wearable robotics. Her focus is on taking textile components from the research environment into a producible product. She is interested in enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness and comfort of wearable robotics by focusing on shape & fit and by developing sizing schemes customized for targeted populations. Current projects include soft exosuits to assist with walking and gloves to assist in grasp for impaired users.
