Sarah E. Gilpin, Ph.D.

Senior Research Scientist

Sarah’s research interests focus on lung biology in the context of disease and repair. She received her undergraduate and master’s degree from McMaster University and her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, where her research investigated cellular biology in chronic lung diseases and lung transplantation. She spent 7 years at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School working on lung tissue engineering and regeneration projects. At the Wyss, Sarah works on Organ Chip-Enabled Therapeutics.
