Reza received his B.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Tehran and his Ph.D. in Molecular & Computational Biology from the University Southern California. In his graduate studies, he developed one of the first Hi-C technologies to address the 3D organization of the genome. Currently, he is interested in using DNA as a medium for storing digital and biological information. His work at the Wyss Institute is focused on utilizing the genome for recording developmental events in mammalian embryos.
