Bionic 5K: Possibilities Over Disabilities

Join members of the Wyss Institute and the Harvard Biodesign Lab at the upcoming Bionic 5K, an inclusive 5K race on April 29, 2018 in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA.

Exosuits being developed by the Wyss Institute and the Harvard Biodesign Lab at Harvard SEAS will be worn by race participants. These wearable robotic devices  include an ankle-assisting soft exosuit worn by an individual recovering from Stroke and the hip-assisting soft exosuits designed to reduce the metabolic effort of walking and jogging worn by able-bodied researchers.

Whether you register to participate in the race or join us to cheer on participating athletes, we look forward to seeing you there!
