Laura oversees academic affairs at the Wyss Institute which includes managing the overall onboarding process and experience for academic hires at the Institute. She has more than 10 years of experience working with academics including visiting scholars, fellows, postdocs, graduate students, and interns.
Prior to the Wyss Institute, Laura was the Program Coordinator at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) at Harvard where she co-oversaw the Visiting Scholars Program, managed the process for undergraduate and graduate student grants, and helped run a robust program of seminars and events. Prior to CES, she worked at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health on the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Program assisting one of Harvard’s largest public health grants in its history to help fight the AIDS epidemic in Africa. She holds a A.L.B. in International Relations and Government and a Certification in Business and Communications from the Harvard Extension School.
