Helen Wang is the founding partner of TecoGlobal Group and EcoGen Capital Partners, a venture studio and impact investing platform focused on accelerating innovation to reality commercial success, and international expansion for deep tech, health tech, and climate tech ventures, with operations in Boston, Singapore, China, and the MEA region. She is also the regional head for SEED GROUP, a subsidiary of the Dubai Royal Family’s Private Office, facilitating collaborations between global innovative companies and the MEA region.

As a seasoned business executive, serial entrepreneur, AI strategist, and certified ESG impact investing professional, Helen has deep expertise in disruptive technologies and sustainable innovation. With over 18 years of experience across the public and private sectors, she has held leadership and founding roles within global conglomerates, high-growth ventures, and agile startups, delivering impactful results across healthcare, life sciences, oil & gas, renewables, manufacturing, and ESG-focused fintech fields.

Throughout her professional and venture journey, Helen has driven international expansion by localizing product and service offerings, securing strategic partnerships, and raising capital for ventures across the globe. She also served as Head of the Global CEO Office and Chief of Staff at a medtech conglomerate, overseeing operations in 80+ countries and supporting two subsidiary IPOs. She is the co-founder of a VC-backed Web 3.0 AI companion venture based in Singapore.

Helen’s deep tech background spans mechanical engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, cloud computing, and quantum computing. She is a patent co-inventor of a novel energy processing system. Helen holds advisory roles with multiple global institutions, including Canadian Loyal VC, Tan Phi Funds in Singapore, and the INSEAD Angels Asia Investment Committee. She had been with MIT CIO Symposium, leading the international outreach and partnership development with global companies and innovation institutions for six years. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences, and also a venture advisor, career and leadership coach.

Helen holds degrees in thermal energy and power engineering, and management from institutions in China, US, France, and Singapore. She earned her MBA from INSEAD.

Helen brings extensive expertise in innovation, tech commercialization, impact investing, and business development. Her unique blend of deep tech knowledge, business acumen, and international experience enables her to support ventures in accelerating from innovation to reality across venture ideation, formation to commercial success, sustainable growth and operational excellence across regional and global markets.

She has actively contributed to the global innovation ecosystem, collaborating with the Wyss Institute as a Visiting Scholar on the Sustainable Futures Initiative. As a member of the Wyss Mentor Hive, she brings expertise to innovators, founders, and executives on incubating and scaling businesses to achieve commercial success with purpose.

The Wyss Mentor Hive is a mentoring program that invites investors and business professionals with significant early stage translational experience, clinical and regulatory experts in driving therapeutic and device development, and serial entrepreneurs with a track record of success to work closely with Wyss entrepreneur teams on startup formation and technology commercialization.
