Marnie Hoolahan, M.B.A.

Marnie is Managing Director of The NemetzGroup LLC, where she leads biopharma leaders in commercialization strategy, innovative solutions, and thought partnership.

Marnie brings clients 25 years of corporate strategy, sales, medical affairs, market research, new product planning, business development, and management experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Prior to joining The NemetzGroup, Marnie served in a variety of roles at Genzyme Corporation, most recently as a Vice President of Business Excellence and Commercial Assessment. In her positions at Genzyme, Marnie was responsible for leading market assessments for new product planning, leading commercial diligence for business development, and establishing strategic goals for the organization. Marnie has held many roles of increasing responsibility in the sales and management levels at Bristol Myers Squibb, and Geltex. Marnie received her M.B.A. from Babson College and B.S. from Boston College.

In her 10 years at The NemetzGroup, Marnie’s focus has been with rare disease clients and has led a variety of corporate, medical affairs, and commercial engagements including, corporate and functional vision and strategy development, long-range planning, commercialization launch planning, medical affairs organizational and governance plans, publications and congress strategy, scientific platforms, medical affairs tactile deployment, and abstract development.

At the Wyss Institute, Marnie is a member of the Wyss Mentor Hive who specializes in therapeutics, honing value proposition, developing brand strategy and pitch decks, and commercialization.

The Wyss Mentor Hive is a mentoring program that invites investors and business professionals with significant early stage translational experience, clinical and regulatory experts in driving therapeutic and device development, and serial entrepreneurs with a track record of success to work closely with Wyss entrepreneur teams on startup formation and technology commercialization. Mentors provide feedback to founders and entrepreneurs, while also demonstrating commitment and leadership in the Wyss innovation community.
