In this talk, part of the University of Miami’s College of Engineering’s Distinguished Lecture Series, Wyss Core Faculty member Jim Collins will discuss how synthetic biology is bringing engineers, physicists, and biologists together to model, design, and construct biological circuits out of proteins, genes, and other bits of DNA, and to use these circuits to rewire and reprogram organisms.
