
Wyss Associate Faculty member Ali Khademhosseini has received the Kavli Early Career Award in Nanoscience for his work in regenerative tissue engineering that could lead to the development of next-generation regenerative therapeutics and biomedical devices. Khademhosseini was also recently elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and of the NANOSMAT Society. Inspired by biological systems and patient needs, Khademhosseini engages in what he calls “patient-inspired” engineering, allowing patient and clinician needs to guide his research. The applications of his work are manifold, including cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal trauma, and ulcers. Read more…
