Ana Carolina Villar de Jimenez currently serves as the Events Manager at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University. An events professional with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and event management industry and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), she has dedicated her career to helping organizations execute events that drive growth and foster meaningful connections.
Ana Carolina is a native of the Dominican Republic, where she worked as International Division Manager at K&M Destinos for a decade before joining the Wyss. Volunteer work is important to Ana Carolina; she has held various positions within the Meetings Professional International (MPI) New England Chapter, including Director and Vice President of the Educational Institute. Her expertise is backed by a Master’s degree in Meeting and Events Management from San Diego State University (SDSU) and a Bachelor’s in Hotel Administration from Universidad Catolica Santo Domingo (UCSD).
Recently, she expanded her professional portfolio by completing the PCMA Ascent Pathway program and has been active in high-level event strategy for some local non-profits. Driven by a passion for event design and seamless execution, she strives to be a leader in the global events community.
