Anastasia is a Staff Scientist in the Molecular Robotics Initiative at the Wyss Institute, where she designs DNA and RNA nanostructures for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. She did her Ph.D. in William Shih’s group at the Wyss, where she built highly cooperative DNA-based self-assembling systems for biomolecular signal amplification and nanoscale fabrication. She holds a B.A. in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Anastasia is now leveraging her interdisciplinary expertise on a range of projects, including developing duplex RNA nanostructures as cancer immunotherapeutics and advancing her Ph.D. work towards rapid, low-cost, ultrasensitive diagnostics.
