Bogdan has over 20 years of extensive experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics analysis in the characterization of peptides and proteins utilizing a broad range of biological samples. He joins the Wyss Institute to help lead the Multi-omics Discovery Engine (MoDE) under the Wyss Diagnostics Accelerator (Wyss DxA) with the goal of catalyzing innovation in the fields of therapeutics and diagnostics. During the last 15 years, prior to this role at the Wyss, he was the Director of the Proteomics Laboratory at Harvard University supporting a variety of scientific projects for the larger Harvard community and its associated researchers. With the successful launch of the Brigham-Wyss DxA and the Industrial Participant Program (IPP) in 2021, and the newly launched MoDE platform in March 2022, Bogdan will play a critical role in accelerating the discovery of novel biomarkers and drug targets driven by unmet clinical needs.
