Ramsés’ professional interest and expertise include low cost fabrication techniques, numerical simulation, design and fabrication of microfluidics and micro-electromechanical systems. He has been involved in projects from a wide range of fields including water sterilization systems, low-cost nasopharyngeal swabs development for COVID-19 testing, Point-of-care devices, lab automatization and high throughput screening systems for animal models. He earned his B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering and M.S. Micro and Nanosystems from the Universidad Veracruzana.
