Prefabricated, “one-size-fits-all” medical implants fail to match individual anatomies and can result in tissue damage and impaired healing. To address this concern, we’re pioneering transcatheter technology to create custom implants directly inside patients, tailored to their unique anatomy, to provide safer and more effective treatments across various medical conditions.
As a first application, we are pursuing left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO), which is a procedure to prevent strokes by sealing the heart’s left atrial appendage, which varies greatly from person to person.
