The Wyss Institute funds Seed Grants in Biologically Inspired Engineering on a competitive basis to bring new people and ideas from Harvard and our collaborating institutions into the Wyss community. These funds are used to initiate projects that would be deemed too adventurous and high risk, or lack the extensive preliminary data normally required for funding by government agencies or industry. Applications that propose to leverage or advance the Institute’s Enabling Technology Platforms are of particular interest.
