Eugene Goldfield

Eugene Goldfield, Ph.D.

Eugene Goldfield, PhD., an Assistant Professor in the Center for Behavioral Sciences at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School, has taken on a leadership role on the Programmable Second Skin project of the Institute's Anticipatory Medical and Cellular Devices Platform, which focuses on the development of an intelligent flexible orthotic that will potentially reprogram gait control in children with cerebral palsy. He is also principal investigator on an NSF grant that includes multiple Wyss Institute Core faculty, and that funds work at the Institute's Motion Capture Laboratory to develop an assistive device for infants and young children with brain damage leading to motor disorders.
