We are gathering a World Class Faculty for a one and a half day symposium to promote better understanding of the unmet management needs of Diabetic Lower Extremity (DLE) complications and the new therapeutic approaches currently under development
- Overview of current management of DLE complications
- Discuss new developments in basic, translational and biomaterial research that impact DLE management
- Explore new therapeutic approaches from early preclinical to the late clinical stage of development
- Identify areas of collaboration between academia & industry
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Physicians, scientists and engineers involved in DLE management, research & development of new interventions. General, Vascular & Plastic Surgeons, Podiatrists, Diabetologists, ID Specialists, Neurologists, Wound Care Specialists
POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The symposium organizers welcome poster submissions from academic labs, clinical units and industry. Posters that address the biology, management and treatment of diabetic lower extremity complications, including new potential therapeutic strategies will be considered. The best three posters will be presented as oral presentations.
Prizes for the best posters will be offered.
