Wyss Institute Core Faculty member James Collins, Ph.D., received an Allen Distinguished Investigator award by the newly founded Paul G. Allen Frontiers Group to develop synthetic biology applications to antimicrobial resistance of deadly drug-resistant bacteria and to uncover the root causes of this continuously spreading threat. Collins will work with other distinguished investigators in the Paul G.
