The Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation has honored Wyss Institute Associate Faculty member Wesley Wong with a Beckman Young Investigator Award. This award recognizes the most promising young faculty members in the early stages of academic careers in the chemical and life sciences. With this funding, Wong will continue to develop an approach called single-molecule centrifugation, which will enable researchers to perform massively parallel single-molecule manipulation in a simple and inexpensive way. This approach has the potential to revolutionize many areas of biomedical research.
