At the American Heart Association meeting, Wyss Institute Founding Director Don Ingber delivered the Lewis A. Conner Memorial Lecture to kick off the opening plenary session in Chicago last month. Ingber captivated the crowd of over 2,500 as he gave a glimpse into a near-term future where clinicians will use nanotechnology to model human diseases and drug research will be done on microchips that mimic human organs.
