Wyss Technology Development Fellow Kambez Benam has been selected as a winner of the 2016 Lush Prize Americas Young Researcher Award. This prize honors keen young scientists who are working to develop alternatives to animal toxicology testing. At the Wyss Institute, Benam works with Don Ingber where he is pioneering the development of a human lung small airway-on-a-chip that enables analysis of human lung inflammation and drug responses.
