A new manufacturing strategy for programming DNA “building blocks” that self-assemble into complex nanostructures was chosen by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) as a Genome Advance of the Month. The work was led by Core Faculty member Peng Yin (shown) with help from Postdoctoral Fellow Bryan Wei and graduate student Mingjie Dai. NHGRI makes these monthly honors to help promote and publicize exciting discoveries in the field of genomics.
