In a London ceremony at the end of February, Wyss Founding Director Don Ingber received an award from the UK’s National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs) for his innovative lung-on-a-chip microdevice. Ingber was also honored in March with the Society of Toxicology’s Leading Edge in Basic Science Award for his Organs-on-Chips research.
